Our stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were clean and okay, but they got really hot in the afternoon, and fitting all our winter gear was a challenge with the limited space when the kids' beds were unfolded. The service was a blend of experiences, from efficient and friendly interactions to dealing with noisy neighbors. The location was perfect for family activities, with nearby attractions and a convenient distance to the slopes. The dining offered good food but lacked variety and was a bit overpriced.
The hotel is in a convenient location near Hafjell and Hunderfossen, but not close to grocery stores. The rooms are cozy but lack soundproofing, and the 'Queen' beds in the 'Superior' rooms are somewhat misleading. The service is efficient but lacks warmth, and the coffee quality needs improvement. The dining offers delicious food with healthy options. The trapeze facilities seem out of place among fixed structures. Overall, good value for a stopover between Trondheim and Colmar.
